Environmental Geology Option

This option will help you prepare for advanced study in environmental geology of for work as a professional geologist in the areas of water supply, waste management, geological hazards and engineering geology.

Geology Option

This is the traditional option in geology. It will help you prepare for advanced study in geology, or work as a professional geologist.

ITEMIZED CHANGES

The revised program:

1. Makes MA 227-228 acceptable for both BS options.

2. Reduces from 21 to 15 the number of credits in the Environmental Geology Option.

3. Creates elective choices in the Environmental Geology options.

4. Changes the field camp requirement from 7 to 6-7 cr in the Geology option.

5. Creates an opportunity to complete a 300-level elective in the Geology option.
