To earn the B.S. with a major in geology, you must fulfill the requirements of IPFW and the school, complete the following geology core courses and the courses in one of the two options. Grades of C or better must be earned in all courses in geology and ancillary subject areas.

Geol G429 Field Geology in Rocky Mountains, Summer (7 cr)
MA 227-228 Calculus for Technology I-II (7 cr)
Additional Credits in 400-level geology courses (9 cr)
Additional Credits in either 300- or 400-level geology courses (3 cr)
12 credits chosen from the following:
Geog G315 Environmental Conservation (3 cr)
Geol G300 Environmental and Urban Geology (3 cr)
Geol G336 Principles of Engineering Geology(3 cr) or,
Geol G413 Introduction to Geophysics (3 cr)
Geol G406 Introduction to Geochemistry (3 cr)
Geol G415 Geomorphology (3 cr)
Geol G423 Methods in Applied Geophysics (3 cr)
Geol G451 Principles of Hydrogeology (3 cr)
Additional credits in 300- or 400-level geology coruses (3 cr)
